What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
- See approximately 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians in accordance with Rhode Island regulations, including consultation and referral as appropriate
- Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
- Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
- Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)
- Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)
- Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment
Who You Are
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (required)
- Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island (required)
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain (required)
- Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain (required)
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care (required)
- Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment
- Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)
Pay
Salary range: $120,000 USD - $130,000 USD
