Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with back and spine conditions.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Develops and implements treatment plans for spinal conditions within the scope of practice.
• Refers patients to specialty services when necessary.
• Writes prescriptions and performs procedures within the scope of expertise.
• Educates patients and families on spine conditions, treatment options, recovery expectations, and self-management strategies.
• Supports health promotion by reinforcing injury prevention, ergonomics, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to treatment plans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant licensure with prescriptive authority in the state of Washington.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
