About the role

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking an experienced full‑time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Onalaska Urgent Care group. The position involves seeing patients of all ages (pediatrics and adults) in a high‑volume, high‑acuity urgent care setting that operates 7:00 am–10:00 pm, seven days a week. The organization is a physician‑influenced, not‑for‑profit health system with headquarters in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wisconsin, serving 22 counties across western Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa, and southeastern Minnesota. Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Perform bedside procedures such as orthopedic reductions, laceration repairs, incision and drainage, and other urgent‑care interventions.
• Deliver outreach services as needed within the system.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of students, residents, fellows, and clinical staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited PA or NP program.
