Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

The role is part-time exempt, 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday with variable days, located in Ashtabula, OH, specializing in outpatient orthopedics and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across acute, outpatient, and alternative care settings under physician supervision
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications
• Counsel patients and families
• Coordinate clinical services
• Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
• Communicate with referring or primary care physicians regarding patient care and treatment
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, case managers, and other advanced practitioners

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Physician Assistant studies and/or Nursing
• Minimum three to five years of demonstrated experience in the field or profession
• Good organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service and above-average oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio and certified by the NCCPA or licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio
• BLS certification required
