Premise’s mission is to help people get, stay, and be well. As a Full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Blaine, WA, supporting our Occupational Health line of service.

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 6:30 am–5:00 pm
  • Rotating Fridays: 8:00 am–12:00 pm
  • No nights, weekends, or holidays

Responsibilities

  • Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements
  • Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
  • Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
  • Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
  • Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
  • Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
  • Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice
  • Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable)
  • Current NCCPA national certification required
  • Degree from ARC-PA accredited program
  • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
  • State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Pay

  • Eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus
  • Compensation range: $128,000 – $160,000 annually

For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Paid time off accrues at 0.0769 hours per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, plus 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual.
