Physician Assistant - Orthopedics

About the role

We’re an established, multi-location network of orthopedic physicians and accredited surgery centers specializing in care for injured workers and personal injury patients, many of whom are underserved. Our care runs from first consult through surgery and rehab. Our Wauwatosa clinic is growing, and we’re looking for a Physician Assistant to be the go-to provider there. You’ll split your time between clinic visits, telemedicine, and first-assisting in our on-site surgery center.

Responsibilities

• See orthopedic and pain management patients in clinic for evaluations, follow-ups, and treatment plans.
• First assist on 15–20 surgical cases per month.
• Conduct telemedicine visits from the clinic.
• Document injuries, work status, and treatment plans for workers’ comp and personal injury cases.
• Coordinate with physicians, the surgical team, and front-office staff to keep patient flow running smoothly.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PA program with current NCCPA certification.
• Active Wisconsin PA license (or able to obtain one quickly) and a DEA registration.
• Experience in pain management or orthopedics.
• Surgical or first-assist experience.

Pay

$130,000 – $150,000 per year (depending on experience).

Schedule

Monday–Friday, no weekends, no on-call.
