Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to support the Hand and Upper Extremity team in an orthopedic setting. The role is based at a comprehensive orthopedic center within a full-service hospital serving the St. Louis metro area, offering advanced surgical and nonsurgical musculoskeletal treatments. The community offers a convenient, vibrant environment with access to cultural and recreational amenities.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical care in a busy orthopedic practice with experience in surgical first assist
• Reading X-rays and supporting surgical procedures
• Collaborating with a team of orthopedic surgeons and APPs
• Participating in patient consultations and post-operative care

Qualifications

• Master's degree as a Physician Assistant with PA-C credential
• Current licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Missouri
• Orthopedic surgery practice experience, including surgical first assist, preferred but new graduates with relevant rotation experience are welcome
