About the role

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time, and focused on excellent patient care. The position supports a work-life balance with a schedule of 12-hour overnight shifts (6P-6A) and no call.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by a physician.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely using Epic EMR.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado.
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the ANCC or AANPCB.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
  • Eligible to provide services, reimburseable services, and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges.

Pay

The pay range for this full-time position is $136,822 - $179,379 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
