Position Summary

You will join a highly engaged, mission-driven team providing comprehensive care in a dedicated Clinic or Hospital setting. You will work closely with committed physicians who prioritize mentorship, professional development, and team-based learning. Organizational Responsibilities

  • Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared.
  • Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
  • Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
  • Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout the fiscal year.
  • Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department.
  • Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patients and self.
  • Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
  • Complies with established organization and department policies.
  • Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current, valid state licensure and appropriate certification (NCCPA or ANCC/AANP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Verified by local Credentialing Office.
  • BLS obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date if required.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Current BLS and ACLS certifications if required.
