Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hepatology team in San Francisco, California. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care for patients with liver disease within a supportive, innovative health system.

About the role

  • Full-time, outpatient-based position
  • Collaborative care model working closely with hepatologists, gastroenterologists, and transplant specialists
  • Monday–Friday schedule with shared call responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

  • Patient evaluation and management
  • Pre- and post-transplant care coordination
  • Ongoing chronic liver disease management
  • Opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and program development within a growing specialty service line

Requirements

  • California license or eligible
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Experience or strong interest in hepatology, gastroenterology, or liver preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
