We are seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our team in Woodbridge, VA. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Virginia license for NP | PA
- Board certification or eligibility, as applicable
- PA: NCCPA certification
- NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
- Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
Qualifications
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
- Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
- Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read

Pay
Compensation: $60-$75/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus
Schedule
Schedule: 12-hour shifts during the week with rotating 8 hour weekend shifts; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Mon - Fri and 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Sat - Sun; every other weekend and occasional holidays are required
