Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient histories, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans according to clinical protocols.
• Maintain monitoring of therapeutic interventions and patient progress.
• Offer counseling and education on medical aspects of treatment.
• Coordinate care with healthcare providers and make referrals as needed.
• Ensure compliance with medical quality standards and regulations.
• Attend treatment team meetings and training seminars.
• Stay updated on drug abuse trends and treatment methods.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as necessary.
• Assist the nursing team and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of employment.
• Current DEA license and documentation of renewal.
• Experience or understanding of chemical addiction preferred.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and efficient work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
• Proficiency in basic computing and data entry.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures.
