About the Role
We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in McKeesport, PA seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role focuses on post-acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, working alongside a collaborative lead provider.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Requirements
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in Pennsylvania
- Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a PA (SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab experience strongly preferred)
- Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
- Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting
Preferred Experience
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
- Background in internal medicine, geriatrics, or physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Experience with orthopedic, stroke, or pain management patients
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Part-Time (2-3 days per week)
- No nights, no call, no weekends
- Round and go model for strong work-life balance

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards
- Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements
- Must comply with facility vaccination requirements
