In this role, the provider will work alongside an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, APPs, social workers, and dedicated chaplain, to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients with serious illnesses.Position Overview: The ideal candidate will be passionate about specialized palliative care and committed to supporting patients and families through complex, end-of-life situations. Key responsibilities include:Clinical management of palliative care patientsLeading serious illness conversations with patients and their familiesManaging malignant pain and complex symptom controlProviding inpatient end-of-life careOffering consultations on goals of care and advance care planningCollaborating closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team-based care modelMinimum Requirements:Current/Eligible Physician Assistant Certification and Arizona LicenseCurrent CPR, BLS, and ACLSCurrent prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substanceWork Schedule: Full Time | M-F | Daytime Shift | No Call, No Weekends!Location: Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, 1111 East McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85006 Part of a health system that makes the highest level of care accessible to Arizona residents.
