Description
Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time, employed Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut.
About the role
The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with mostly outpatient coverage. No evenings, weekends, or call.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
- Performs diagnostic procedures and treatments as appropriate
- Advises patients on disease management and treatment options
- Participates in research and clinical trials
Requirements
- Minimum formal education of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant training
- State of CT license
- Federal DEA and CT Controlled Substance Registration
Qualifications
- Board certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
- Previous Hematology/Oncology experience
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

$30,000 sign-on bonus
