About the role
This is a Physician Assistant role in the Cardiovascular ICU of an inpatient, Level I Trauma facility.
Responsibilities
- Rounding in ICU
- Managing post-cardiac surgery patients, including those coming off vents and from OR with open hearts, VATS, and lung cases
- Overseeing 10-15 patients per shift
Qualifications
- Texas License
- Experience with post-op cardiac patients and ICU care
Skills
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR
- Strong ICU and post-op cardiac management skills
