Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic evaluations and screenings
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Auxiliary in surgical procedures (1st or 2nd assist)
• Perform procedures like injections, aspirations, suturing, pin removal
• Apply/remove casts, splints, orthotics, and dressings
• Provide patient education with compassion and clarity
• Document care in the EHR and coordinate with the care team
• Rotate on-call schedule for continuity of care

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program
• Current Minnesota PA license (or eligible)
• BLS/CPR certification
• Orthopedic experience preferred (strong clinical rotations encouraged for new grads)
