Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical care, patient education, and procedural support across multiple surgical specialties within the practice.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons and the multidisciplinary care team, delivering comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to optimize patient outcomes, ensure continuity of care, and promote an exceptional patient experience.
• Serve as a key clinical provider and liaison between patients, physicians, and staff, supporting a collaborative, patient-centered environment while upholding the organization's mission, values, and standards of clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant
• Current Physician Assistant license in the applicable state required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• AACLS certification preferred.
• Infectious Disease Certified
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a surgical specialty preferred.
• Previous experience first assisting in the operating room preferred.
• Experience managing preoperative and postoperative surgical patients preferred.
• Experience in a multispecialty surgical practice is preferred.
