Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough urologic histories and physical exams.
• Order and interpret essential diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients on procedures such as TURP, cystoscopy, and prostate surgery.
• Round on patients that have undergone laparoscopic and open urologic surgeries.
• Perform tasks like wound closure and catheter placement while maintaining sterile techniques.
• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR).
• Monitor patient recovery postoperatively.
• Manage Foley catheters and provide comprehensive wound care.
• Complete a clinic schedule with consultations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification and Minnesota PA license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Prior experience in urology or surgical specialties preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. A collaborative and patient-centric approach is key to success in this role.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $113,200.00 to $141,500.00 annually, based on experience and contributions to our customer-centric service. We encourage applicants to discuss their compensation expectations during the application process.
