Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough urologic histories and physical exams.
- Order and interpret essential diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients on procedures such as TURP, cystoscopy, and prostate surgery.
- Round on patients that have undergone laparoscopic and open urologic surgeries.
- Perform tasks like wound closure and catheter placement while maintaining sterile techniques.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR).
- Monitor patient recovery postoperatively.
- Manage Foley catheters and provide comprehensive wound care.
- Complete a clinic schedule with consultations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification and Minnesota PA license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Prior experience in urology or surgical specialties preferred.
Qualifications
Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. A collaborative and patient-centric approach is key to success in this role.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $113,200.00 to $141,500.00 annually, based on experience and contributions to our customer-centric service. We encourage applicants to discuss their compensation expectations during the application process.
