Physician Assistant

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Physician Assistants in Tallahassee, FL to work across multiple clinics. The role is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, thrive in a high‑volume environment, and are flexible to work with different teams and settings. New graduates are encouraged to apply, even if board certification has not yet been obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suture and splint wounds.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X‑rays with radiologist over‑read.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Address general dermatology, eye complaints, and gynecologic care.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Manage emergencies in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Schedule

• Shifts are determined approximately two months in advance.
• MainStreet Clinic Hours:
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, and float coverage.
