About the role
Join our team as a Physician Assistant in Dermatology and play a vital role in providing exceptional skin care in a medical office setting. The role involves exposure to biohazards and requires standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient histories and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers
- Perform in-office procedures including biopsies and cryotherapy
- Educate patients on treatments and preventive care
- Collaborate with dermatologists and staff
- Document in the electronic health record (EHR) system
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certified (PA-C)
- Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant
- At least 2 years of dermatology experience
