Physician Assistant

About the role

This position involves collaborating with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for both new and established patients. The clinician orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes and manages medications, and performs procedures within their scope of practice. The role is primarily performed in a clinical setting and emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and patient-centered care within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow up with new and established patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Perform procedures within scope of practice
• Document patient encounters in electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families using understandable language
• Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans
• Maintain safety and ethical standards in all clinical activities

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Strong communication skills
• Sound clinical judgment
• Adherence to organizational policies and procedures
• Understanding of evidence-based practice
• Ability to interpret test results accurately
