Physician Assistant
About the role
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Heritage Center in Huntington, WV. This position offers work-life balance with no on-call or weekend shifts. AlignMed Partners is a national medical group dedicated to improving health outcomes among residents of skilled nursing and senior living facilities, supported by a clinical leadership team with decades of experience in post-acute and long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager.
- Collaborate on-site with the Center Leadership Team for center-specific goals and priorities.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient-specific medical care.
- Provide primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers.
- Work collaboratively with Center Leadership to achieve AlignMed Partners’ mission of improving lives through high-quality healthcare and compassion.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, licensed as a registered nurse, and certified as a Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Specialty track in Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred; other concentrations considered based on experience and business need.
- Physician Assistant: Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited program, pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE), and obtain PA state licensure. NCCPA certification required.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations preferred.
- Unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state of practice (where applicable).

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service. Eligibility for full-time benefits requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. Certain benefits, including Health plans, are not available to part-time employees working between 16 and 29 hours per week.
Pay
Base salary range: $100,000 – $116,480 per year, plus a no-cap incentive compensation bonus program.
