Physician Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time (32-40 hours per week) Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for a float position split between our Kent Regency Center in Warwick, RI and Grand Islander Center in Middletown, RI. This role offers work-life balance flexibility with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager.
• Collaborate on-site with the Center Leadership Team for center-specific goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient-specific medical care.
• Provide primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers.
• Work collaboratively with Center Leadership to achieve AlignMed Partners' mission of improving lives through high-quality healthcare and compassion.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse, and certified as a Nurse Practitioner with a Master's Degree in Nursing. Specialty track of Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred. Other concentrations/specialty tracks considered based on experience and business need.
• Physician Assistant: Graduate from a program accredited by the ARC-PA, pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE), and obtain PA state licensure. NCCPA certification required.
• Minimum of one year of provider experience required; two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations preferred.
• Unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state of practice (where applicable).

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service. Eligibility for full-time benefits requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. Certain benefits, including Health plans, are not available to part-time employees working between 16 and 29 hours per week.

Pay

Base salary range: $116,000 - $133,000 per year (at 40 hours per week), in addition to a no-cap incentive compensation bonus program.
