Physician Assistant
Sub-Acute, Long-Term Care is a sector of healthcare offering significant potential and work-life balance flexibility (no on-call or weekend shifts). We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) provider—either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)—for our Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkins, WV. New graduate NPs are welcome; this role cannot support a new graduate PA.

Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager.
- Collaborate on-site with the Center Leadership Team to meet center-specific goals and priorities.
- Work with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician to provide patient-specific medical care.
- Deliver primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers.
- Partner with Center Leadership to advance AlignMed Partners’ mission of improving lives through high-quality healthcare and compassion.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (NP): Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, licensed as a registered nurse, and certified as an NP with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Specialty track in Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred; other concentrations considered based on experience and business need.
- Physician Assistant (PA): Graduate from an ARC-PA-accredited program, pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE), and obtain state licensure. NCCPA certification required. Minimum of two years of experience with adult or geriatric populations preferred.
- Unrestricted professional license and DEA registration for each state of practice (where applicable).

Pay
Base salary range: $112,000 – $117,000 per year.
