Responsibilities

• Deliver full-spectrum urgent-care medicine via tele-health, treating patients from newborns to geriatrics in a low-acuity setting.
• Work twelve-hour shifts (8 am to 9 pm) with a one-hour break; full-time schedule is 12 shifts plus 2 on-call shifts per month.
• Manage a patient load of four per hour.
• Perform common procedures: incision & drainage, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
• Utilize in-house point-of-care testing and X-rays; all X-rays are read by a board-certified radiologist with routine results available within 20 minutes.
• Document encounters in VelociDoc EMR using Dragon dictation, aiming for one-minute charting per patient.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited MSN FNP program or MS in Health Sciences / Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license and DEA certification.
• Minimum of one year of current urgent-care experience, either on-site or remote.

Pay

$85 per hour plus overtime, a sign-on bonus, and an annual retention bonus.
