Physician Assistant (AM Shift)

Location: 3065 W. Bancroft St. Unit A, Toledo, OH 43606

About the Role

This position is within the Urgent Care & Infusion Center, reporting to the Medical Director/Managing Partners. The role involves rotating between Urgent Care and Infusion Center duties, with a focus on providing comprehensive patient care in both settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive histories and physicals
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-Rays, EKGs)
• Prescribe medications and therapies per Ohio law
• Perform suturing, wound care, splinting, and incision & drainage (I&D)
• Administer and monitor IV infusions
• Recognize and manage infusion reactions
• Utilize EMR systems (e.g., Kareo, DrChrono, AdvancedMD)
• Knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding

Requirements

• Ohio Physician Assistant License (active)
• NCCPA Certification (active or pending)
• Supervising Physician Agreement (on file or pending)
• Prescriptive Authority in Ohio
• DEA Registration (active or pending)
• NPI Number
• BLS Certification (required)
• ACLS Certification (preferred)
• PALS, DOT, or POCUS certifications (preferred)
• Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited PA program
• Willingness to rotate between Urgent Care and Infusion Center duties
• Willingness to work holidays or extended 12-hour shifts if needed

• Tuesday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
• Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
• Thursday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
• Friday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
• Saturday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
• Sunday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening

Preferred shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, or Holiday. Available start date required.
