Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Nurse

About the role

This position involves practicing professional nursing and medicine, including independent and delegated functions, patient advocacy, and delivering medical care to diagnose, treat, and promote health.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive data collection, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Perform procedures within expertise and organizational policies
• Patient education on health promotion and disease prevention
• Accurate documentation of all patient care activities
• Manage telehealth encounters, urgent situations, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with healthcare teams while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity
• Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, and mentoring
• Lead by example and promote a safe and respectful environment

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree for Physician Assistant, with appropriate accreditation
• Licenses and certifications such as RN License, Nurse Practitioner Certification, Prescriptive Authority, or Physician Assistant License, including DEA registration and BLS
• Ability to develop treatment plans, perform procedures within regulations, and provide patient education
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team collaboration skills
• Minimum of 1 year full scope practice experience preferred
