Physician - Adult Congenital Heart Disease - Pediatric Cardiology

About the role

We are seeking a BC/BE cardiologist specializing in Adult Congenital Heart Disease to join our team at Ochsner Children’s Congenital Heart Center at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will work alongside 2 congenital heart surgeons, 4 ACHD board certified pediatric cardiologists, and a dedicated ACHD physician assistant and ACHD nurse coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large group practice setting
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in clinical research programs

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and/or Adult Congenital Heart Disease
• Experience in adult congenital heart disease management

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in complex congenital heart disease cases
• Interest in academic medicine and teaching
• Research experience or interest
