About the role

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Director to lead their outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Richmond, Virginia. The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership, medical oversight, and physician supervision for the OTP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical oversight for patient care and treatment services
  • Conduct admission, annual, and follow-up medical evaluations
  • Manage medication orders and supervise MAT treatment protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nursing staff
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with DEA, SAMHSA, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, state, and federal regulations
  • Serve as a clinical resource for addiction medicine and behavioral health best practices

Qualifications

  • Active Virginia Physician License (MD or DO)
  • Active DEA Registration
  • Active Medicare and Medicaid credentialing
  • Experience in Addiction Medicine, Substance Use Disorder (SUD), Behavioral Health, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP), HIPAA, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
