Job Responsibilities
- Checking patients in and out
- Answering phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Taking payments
- Aiding in insurance processing
- Assisting clinicians in patient treatment
- Preparing and cleaning equipment for patient treatments
- Performing general housekeeping duties
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping people
- An interest in physical therapy or exercise science (helpful but not required)
- A personal training or athletic training certificate with prior gym experience (helpful but not required)
- Superficial knowledge of physiology, anatomy, patient care, and neurology (helpful)
- Strong multi-tasking and excellent communication skills (preferred)
- Previous experience (paid or volunteer) in a physical therapy setting (plus)
- Experience with medical administration/insurance filing (not required but nice to have)
Hours
Monday: 7-3
Tuesday: 11-7
Wednesday: 7-3
Thursday: 11-7
Friday: 7-3
