Physical Therapy Director

Duties

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of the physical therapy department, including clinical protocols, staff development, and patient satisfaction.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate licensed physical therapists, assistants, and support staff to foster professional growth and high-quality care.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing healthcare practices and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and community partners to coordinate patient care plans effectively.
• Monitor departmental performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans accordingly.
• Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.
