PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (PTA) - WOODHAVEN

About the role

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a wonderful rehab experience for patients and their families by being responsive and individualizing treatment plans.
• Be able to work in a supportive rehab environment with progressive treatment modalities to address a variety of diseases and impairments.
• In-house therapy with local management support.

Requirements

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Therapy program.
• Certificate / License: Must be licensed in the state of the SNF you will be working.
• Experience: Previous rehab SNF experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care protocols.
