Essential Functions
- Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities
- Seeks consultation as necessary
- Maintains monitoring of patient's responses to the treatment plan
- Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist
- Documents services provided and patient response/progress
- Edicates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits
- Aids in patient discharge planning
- Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support program
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
- Licenses: Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of KY
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
