Day in the Life of a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Your day starts with a flexible schedule that fits the needs of your clients and your lifestyle. You’ll travel to clients’ homes — giving you the chance to build genuine connections in a comfortable, familiar environment. Assist in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and function. Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities, to help patients achieve their treatment goals. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and adaptive equipment use to support ongoing recovery and independence. Collaborate closely with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary healthcare team to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure comprehensive care delivery in the home setting.

About the Role
WesleyLife Home Health is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients while enjoying a flexible schedule and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and adaptive equipment use.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A current CPR certification.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Experience in home health care or related field preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $25,000 - $35,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
