Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA - Full Time

About the Role

Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in the Watkins Glen area of NY (Horseheads, NY). Bethany Nursing Home, part of Bethany Village, is a 122-bed not-for-profit facility offering all levels of care: SNF, ALF, ILF, and independent living cottages and apartments. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care. Our management team includes individuals who have worked in the PTA role, ensuring we understand what therapists need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience with electronic documentation.
• Ensure good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting and be flexible with hours.

Requirements

• Graduated from a 2-year accredited PTA program.
• Passed or eligible for state boards and hold a current valid NY PTA license.
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license-eligible to practice in New York.

Pay

Good Faith Rate Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour.
