About the role

A full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Mashpee, MA.

Schedule options: Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday (or) Wednesday-Sunday.

Royal Cotuit is a moderately sized skilled rehab and nursing center offering short term, long term and hospice care services to our local and surrounding communities. It is centrally located on Cape Cod with easy access to major highways to Plymouth, Boston, Worcester, and Rhode Island. The area offers plenty of outdoor activities and rich, seaside historical venues to explore.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight of rehabilitation services
  • Ensure efficient and effective operations of the facility's rehabilitation department
  • Provide therapy services to patients
  • Provide clinical support, training, and oversight of specialty programs within his/her specific discipline
  • Plan and coordinate with other facility therapists in the implementation of programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
  • Provide administrative supervision of therapists in the rehabilitation department

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or license eligible in the state where employed
  • Experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting

Qualifications

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or license eligible in the state where employed
  • Experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
