About the role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing physical therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You address the whole patient as an individual, restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing their physical abilities. You adapt to patient needs, collaborate with peers, and make referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need to thrive. Your role ensures patients and their families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

This position reports to the Director of Rehab and is based in a facility setting.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy programs and activities.
  • Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
  • Address the whole patient, seeing them as an individual.
  • Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
  • Adapt to the needs of patients and find joy in the variety of work and settings.
  • Collaborate with teammates and make referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Ensure patients and families receive high-quality, compassionate service.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $30.00 - USD $40.00 per hour. Bonus: USD $5,000.00.
