Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA

About the role

Aegis Therapies, one of the nation’s leading providers of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join their supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of rehabilitative services to patients.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and activities under supervision.
• Help maintain patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
• Experience in geriatric care preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

$27 to $35 per hour.

Schedule

Flexible, up to 40 hours per week.
