Physical Therapy Assistant, Home Health

About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time or part-time opportunity performing visits for our Senior living office in Williston, Vermont. This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis in territories throughout Franklin County, Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Other activities, as requested

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont
• Graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or have one year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist

Pay

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $37.00–41.00 per hour
