Physical Therapy Assistant - Full-time

Role: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to restore or improve patients' mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Key Responsibilities: Implement and revise treatment plans, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and follow-up referrals.Document treatment sessions accurately and timely according to protocols.Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct.Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and support a positive environment.Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and licensure maintenance.Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring quality and cost-effective care. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma and Associates degree in Physical Therapy.Licensure as a PTA and BLS certification required upon hire.Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
