About the role

Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Assistant, providing skilled services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to improve patient comfort, function, and safety.
• Lead therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility activities, and use physical agents like heat, cold, ultrasound, and massage.
• Instruct patients on the safe use of mobility and supportive devices.
• Document patient progress accurately and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions.
• Attend team meetings and quality improvement activities to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degree.
• Current PTA certification or licensure as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with a reliable, insured vehicle.
