Physical Therapy Assistant for Home Health with Hiring Bonus
About the role
Apollo Home Healthcare is hiring a full-time or part-time/per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to serve patients in Northern California's Bay Area. This role involves providing in-home physical therapy services, helping patients regain independence and improve their daily functioning. You will work closely with a supervising Physical Therapist and a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home physical therapy visits under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
- Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active California PTA license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes
- Home healthcare experience
- Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR (preferred)

Schedule
Priority scheduling to achieve a full patient caseload for full-time clinicians. Local territory within your region of choice (Alameda County, Contra Costa County, or Solano County).
Pay
$30-85/hour, depending on type of work and experience level. Visit and reimbursement rates vary based on visit type and employment status (1099 or W2). Rates may be adjusted in the future, and employees will be notified of these changes.
