Physical Therapy Aide (Part Time)

Role: Physical Therapist Aide assisting in patient care within a multidisciplinary therapy setting. Responsibilities Record and edit therapeutic exercises under supervision.Assist in treating patients by preparing and applying heat, cold, and other therapies.Guide patients through exercises, monitor exertion, and educate on equipment use.Ensure treatment equipment is operational and well-maintained.Prepare treatment rooms and supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment.Provide front desk support, including answering calls and scheduling.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety procedures.Assist with inventory management of supplies.Support patient comfort and understanding throughout therapy sessions. Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of Anatomy, Kinesiology, and therapy equipment.Understanding of patient behavior, strengthening techniques, and safety practices.Strong communication skills and ability to observe and record patient conditions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain professionalism.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical activities required. Additional Details: Compensation ranges from $17 to $18.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The role requires local coverage and transportation responsibility.
