PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE

About the role

Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is looking for a dependable, compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our well-established and growing physical therapy practice based in our North Hills (McCandless) office. Founded in 2005, TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, including physical, occupational and hand therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Assist the therapists in the treatment of patients
• Train and educate patients and/or family members in appropriate exercises and in activities of daily living
• Prepare treatment areas, equipment and supplies for therapy sessions
• Manage inventory
• Maintain a clean and efficient office environment
• Travel to other offices if necessary and cross train for front desk operations

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable interacting with patients daily in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, move and assist with equipment and patients as required
• Organized with attention to detail and basic computer proficiency

Qualifications

• Outpatient rehab experience and/or an Exercise Science or related field is ideal
• EMR experience a plus
