ACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in Danbury, CT.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sanitize treatment room for patients
- Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, and progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist
- Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs
- Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment
- Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training
- Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public, and all members of the healthcare team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
