Physical Therapist - WKND- FT Nights

About the role

Under the general supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center of Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with the Oklahoma Practice Act. Duties are performed consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments for adult and geriatric patients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive individualized treatment programs.
• Provide direct supervision to patients.
• Provide indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Provide general supervision of physical therapist assistants per Oklahoma Practice Act.
• Ensure all duties align with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy (or registry eligible).
• Education: Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current BLS certification (must be current before independent patient care).
• Preferred: Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• Preferred: Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
