Physical Therapist - Variable Shifts

About the role

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist, responsible for evaluating and managing patients with various medical, developmental, or health conditions to restore their mobility and functional abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through clinical testing to determine muscle strength, reflexes, sensation, coordination, and range of motion.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals, age, and medical history.
• Administer or prescribe modalities, exercises, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide direct patient care, education to patients and families, and discharge planning.
• Supervise PT assistants and aides, ensuring adherence to policies and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and participate in patient rounds and case management.
• Work in inpatient/outpatient settings, with some travel, and adhere to organizational policies, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate).
• California Physical Therapist License or applicant license.
• BLS certification and NPI registration.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and potentially cover diverse patient populations.
• Preferred membership in APTA.
