Role Overview: We are seeking a traveling Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services in a skilled nursing facility. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, managing caseloads in post-acute and long-term care populations, and ensuring compliance with facility and state regulations. The therapist will support patient recovery, improve mobility, and facilitate safe discharges while maintaining proper documentation and interdisciplinary communication. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.Active California Physical Therapy license.BLS certification from AHA or ARC (may be required).Experience in skilled nursing settings and with restorative programs preferred.Familiarity with documentation systems used in skilled nursing facilities preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage patient caseloads in post-acute and long-term care environments.Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy services.Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
