Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

About the Role

This position involves providing outpatient rehabilitation services as a traveling Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, developing and modifying individualized treatment plans, delegating therapy services, and documenting care in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient care with a focus on functional outcomes
• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Delegate therapy services and ensure safe patient return to community activities
• Document care in compliance with regulations and clinic policies
• Provide patient and family education
• Participate in student programs and maintain professional standards
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy license
• Experience in outpatient therapy
• Proficiency in documentation, goal writing, and electronic medical records
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop functional treatment plans
• Adherence to professional licensure, practice acts, and continuing education

Preferred Skills

• Supervising or mentoring students
• Travel therapy or contract experience
• Knowledge of safe patient handling protocols
